Akothee vows to “climb mountains” for her kids

The self-proclaimed Madame boss has never been shy to share with public her past struggles before all the money and fame.

My story

In a post seen by Pulselive.co.ke, the award-winning artiste recounted her early struggles with her kids saying that the big parties she hosts are because she wants to give her kids the best that she never had.

“It was @rue.baby birthday 2008, that top and skirt was new , pliz don't come , and my taxi packed right infront of my apartment, I was paying monthly rent of 25,000ksh , 2 bedrooms just enough for me and my 3 eggs @rue.baby @veshashaillan @fancy_makadia , clarina Apartments in shanzu, if you stayed there between 2008 - 2009 then you can tell my story better with no salt, :joy::joy::joy::joy"

"my children went to bahari parents which was a high standard school even though I had nothing, (niliishi maisha ya kubahatisha, pata leo kesho zero) :joy::joy::joy::joy:, so even if you see me thro big birthday bashes today , it's something that has been in my heart , to give my kids the best , that I dint receive, I will climb the highest mountains just for my kids not to go through what I went through”, read part of the post.

Akothee who revealed that she got married at 14 years of age is known for songs such as Djele Djele, Sweet love, Give it to me, Yuko moyoni among others.
