She's as real as it gets.

Madam Boss is arguably one of the most controversial female celebrities in Kenya. From waiting tables in clubs to driving cabs before finally getting her big break into wealth and untold fortunes through a certain love-struck mzungu, it is safe to say that Akothee has worn many crowns including the tasteless ones that KOT gave her for getting rich through interracial relationships.

But 5 children and a few mansions later, it is safe to consider it an understatement when one says that the Benefactor singer is an iconic personality that women should look up to.

Besides the money, Akothee who is known to live large, has some other amazing traits too.

Here are reasons why women would aspire to be her.

She honors the elderly

Humility is venture that Akothee fully understands. While she could pay for an expensive spa date, the singer worth millions blew away her fans when she posted a picture of herself scrubbing her grandfather’s feet. From the looks of it, she’s also got a pretty amazing relationship with her parents.

She is such a Mama bear

Akothee attends various corporate events with her two teenage daughters. Beyond that, she is always taking time off her busy schedule to hang out with all her children on various vacations and even at home. From the photos, one could say that she is deeply involved in parenting and loves her cubs to bits.  She confessed in a previous interview that is actually ready for baby number six.

She said, “…Kid number six is loading! Having many kids is a hobby, and I wish I could fall pregnant again.”

She can farm as well as she can dance

You would expect a woman of her worth to hire dozens of hands to take care of her rather vast farm. However, Akothee can hold a panga just as well as she can a microphone. She calls farming a passion and she does it with as much as she can muster. It’s probably why her spinach look so healthy and well cultivated.

The past doesn’t define her

You can’t call out a person who has already confessed their dirty secrets. Like Akothee for instance. Married at 14 years of age with three children at the age of 16, Akothee’s life story is a chock full of braved battles on premature motherhood, marriage life and poverty saved by a certain travelling white man who fell in love with her dancing and offered to give her the world.

She doesn’t hesitate to post pictures of herself back in the day when life was such a struggle.

She’s a hot mama

Five children later and her banging hot body is still goals for so many ladies.

She’s got style

After you’re done cringing (or loving) her rather revealing apparels on her music videos and events, you’ve got to admit that the Give it to me singer knows how to dress the occasion and does it with style. She is comfortable moving from hot sexy singer to Mama Ojwang’ in seconds and still rock it with style.

And she works hard

Yes, she started out with help from her then muse but she’s invested and worked hard to keep the money flowing. Akothee is the founder of a well off Real Estate firm- Akothee properties, owner of a travelling agency-Akothee Safaris with a successful music career that has seen her collaborate with some of Africa’s top musicians.

My take: It’s time to show this fine ‘ghel’ some serious love.
