In a statement she gave out through her social media accounts, the publicist said that she stopped working with the boy band and his last day with them was January 10, 2017 but she worked with them again on their last two songs that feature Nigerian artistes Patoranking and Tiwa Savage.
Anyiko said that she has been receiving numerous calls from people regarding a recent expose by some models on the boy band that blew up social media.
“PLEASE SWIPE to get context I’ve been receiving numerous calls regarding this recent @sautisol statement, and tweet response. Let’s be clear - I am no longer working as Publicist to Sauti Sol. My last day was January 10th 2017. However my company @anyikopr has done PR - ONLY - for their last 2 singles Melanin & Girl Next Door,” she said in her post.

Sauti Sol was accused of calling up models for a video shoot but would in turn pay them with lunch and transportation to and from the location of the shoot, allegations they have distanced themselves from claiming that it is the company tasked with hiring models for them that wanted to misuse the models.
Sauti Sol was forced to cancel the project until their house was put in order.
