As Nation reports, Margaret’s husband Dr Fredrick Onyango Ogolla, a lecturer at Strathmore Business School was on Wednesday arraigned at the Kibera Law courts after being arrested over suspicion that he had beaten his wife to death on the evening of December 31, 2017.
According to Nairobi County Police Commander Japheth Koome, the couple had a quarrel on 31st which turned violent to a point that Margaret was beaten until she lost consciousness.
“She was taken to hospital unconscious after that evening fight but she succumbed to her injuries.” Mr Koome said.

Before her untimely death, the late Margaret had expressed that she was looking forward to the new year with a post that read “Welcoming 2018 with full of joy and happiness.”
Following her death, Dr Ogola posted this “To my friends on FB, what happened was too painful that I have been unable to believe and that’s why I didn’t update you, my lovely wife left me and went to the lord. It’s so hurting in as much as it is hard to express. Rip my love.”
With Robert Burale also mourning with a post that read “Oh death death, death. Rest Well My Beloved friend Bex Becky...Just the other day I emceed your wedding. Fredrick Onyango Ogola. My prayers are with you bro.”
