Popular Kenyan disk jockey DJ Crème De La Crème is mourning the death of his friend and classmate Ashford Kuria.

In a post he shared on his Instagram page, the father of two said his friend was one of the people who were killed in the recent terrorist attack at Riverside Drive in Nairobi.

Just received this Ashford Kuria was my Classmate In High School, Elite Schools Nyahururu. The True Geek, Intelligent Jokes.. I still remember your techie Jokes that I Totally Understood Fare Thee Well Ashford. RIP #riversideattack @cellulant Peace and God’s Grace to The Families Of everyone affected,” wrote the DJ.

Ashford Kuria is one of the Cellulant Kenya Limited employees who lost their lives in the attack.

21 dead

According to the police, 21 people including 16 Kenyans, one Briton, one American national and three persons of African descent who were yet to be identified died in the Dusit attack.

Notably, 28 people were wounded during the attack and were admitted to various hospitals in Nairobi.
