Drama as Legislator's estranged wife storms his wedding, causing chaos and forcing event to be cancelled[Video]

Drama ensued in Nyamira county on Saturday, 14 December 2019 after a woman disrupted the wedding of Manga Ward MCA George Morara, causing chaos and forcing the event to be cancelled.

Morara’s estranged wife, Janet Mwamba showed up just as the couple were preparing to exchange their vows, ruining the big day for the love-birds.

“Today there was to be a wedding and the groom happens to be my husbad. I was not invited. We were married and I have a certificate to that effect. I am still the legal wife.” Asserted Janet.

A calm and composed Mwamba addressed the press, detailing how she sought the intervention of the court to stop he wedding that was planned in secrecy.

The priest who was leading the ceremony stormed out of the venue, leaving guests confused.

The would be bride and groom surfaced after more than six hours later and opted to dance their troubles away after their big day was interrupted.

Armed with a certificate, Mwamba claimed that the MCA has been legally married to her for over 20 years and the union has never been annulled.

She claims to have been alerted about the wedding by her child who learnt about it on social media.
