Edmond said it was time for him to move on to something else but he was disappointed that he was leaving a place that has taught him a lot and he will forever call home.

It has been FIVE great years with NTV Kenya (NMG). I have worked with an excellent team, learnt aplenty, grown immensely, interviewed great people and won awards. It is time, however, to move on to something else. Gutted that I am leaving a place that will forever be home to me,” he said in a tweet.

His departure however comes at a time when the media house has been in a mass sacking that has seen tens of journalists leave the media house.
