How comedian YY is surviving after quitting Churchill Show (Photos)

Comedian YY quit Churchill Show in May 2016 amid complains of poor pay by a section of Churchill Show Comedians. Life after Churchill Show is challenging for YY but he’s managing.

Not so many comedians succeed when they quit Churchill Show (If you can recall the case with Teacher Wanjiku); only Eric Omondi seems to be doing so well since he left.

But a man gotta survive! YY is back on TV just not with Churchill Show or NTV! The comedian publicly announced he was quitting Churchill Show to save his own career that was sinking.

“It was nice being on Churchill Show, I loved it and I appreciate it, but I quit. why? my talent is too strong to kill by Computer Desktops, my God is more powerful too…No pleasing Human in good faith ‪#‎God‘speed. It will be my last show. #MOVINGUP. ” YY posted the shocking announcement on Facebook in May.

So what’s next for YY after ditching his former job? The comedian has already secured a job on TV even though it doesn’t suit his caliber.

YY has gotten a job on KU TV’s ‘The Comic Show’ which showcases the best of sprouting humorists who are striving to make it big at Churchill Show and other major comic shows.

‘The Comic Show’ has produced the likes of Sleepy David and other comedians who have also appeared on Churchill Show briefly.

Live recording of ‘The Comic Show’ is usually done on Fridays at Kenyatta University’s massive amphitheater.
