Where Nameless proposed to Wahu

Most people want to make how they propose to the love of their life memorable and so they do it in the grandest of ways. This is because everyone loves a good proposal story.

Maybe they fly their girlfriend in a chopper to a lake in Mt Kenya or scribble the words 'Will you Marry Me' in the sand during a skydiving trip.

Some people even propose at popular eateries. Others prefer to go a much simpler way such as Nameless who proposed to Wahu at Nairobi Arboretum grounds. A venue which has in the past hosted an array of popular events, hosted a selection of local and international musicians, intimate weddings and has acted as a scene for early morning runs for fitness fanatics. It has also been a place where lovebirds bond and from time to time get proposed to. Like Nameless did to Wahu about 12 years ago.

“Arboretum is a very nice place by the way. Do you know I proposed to my wife in Arboretum? Mimi ni yule msee. We used to go to Arboretum when I was in campus." He said on Ebru TV.

A confession that elicited laughter from the panelists at Ebru TV's Let's Talk show as it is such an odd place to propose. But there was a reason why he chose Arboretum over a grand proposal. “The reason I proposed to her at Arboretum was because it was more sentimental. Tulikuwa tunaenda huko tukiwa campo kuchill since its near main campus (UON)." He revealed.
