According to the singer, the high number of subscribers to his YouTube channel and the number of visitors who come to watch his music made the recognition possible and that he is very thankful to them.

The lad who is currently riding high with a song dedicated to his baby mama ‘SIRI’ could not hide his joy as he shared the news through his Instagram account, on the Award a few hours after he received it.
“In the award they look at the number of people who visit your channel to view your works and those subscribed to your channel. When you get to 100K subscribers and have many people visiting your channel then they give you the award,” he said.
Success in millions
Vanny boy revealed that they sent him an email to inform him of the award and the reasons why he was selected for the award.
The singer who is signed under the Wasafi Classic Baby (WCB) record label is one of the best performing East African artistes music wise with his songs recording millions of views with 226, 217 subscribed to his channel.

“#YOUTUBEAwards Thanks a lot @youtube for this Award Means A lot to me am so grateful...” he said on his Instagram post.
Last year, Rayvanny became the second East African artist to win the BET Award after he won the Viewer’s Choice Best New International Act.
