NTV journalist bags powerful Government Job

Congratulations!

Announcing his exit, Mr. Juma who has already begun his duties said that NTV has been his home for the past six years, but he had decided to serve the country from another level.

“It’s with great pleasure that I announce my exit from Nation Media Group where I have worked for six years reporting on crime, the courts and carrying out investigative works. Some decisions are tough to make but we must all accept that life is dynamic and we are never permanently tethered to one place. One thing you should always ask yourself is the legacy or achievement you’ve left behind. Nation has been my home and family. I have had an opportunity to work with the best journalists in the country. Through their support, I became the voice of the voiceless and the oppressed. But today, I take up another mantle to serve the country at another level. ,” read Steve Juma’s statement.

He becomes the latest casualty of a mass exodus of journalists who have recently left NMG to work for competing media houses, Public Relations companies and County Governments.
