14 year-old Professional Gymnast Wendy Waeni has exposed former Manager Joe Mwangi, with accusations of exploitation and conmanship.

Appearing on JKL Live, Wendy explained that Joe Mwangi has been pocketing all her performances money, as she never gets even a single penny despite touring the world to showcase her talent.
Waeni who has performed for more than three Presidents (Uhuru, Museveni,Kagame Mahama and PM Cameron) also mentioned that her mother still lives in Huruma slams where she has to sells sweets and cigarettes in order to put food on the table.

Taking all the Money
“I have been performing all over the world and right now I live in Huruma because of Joe Mwangi. I have performed in Rwanda, Germany, China and I have not gotten even a single penny, my mother is really suffering, as we talk she sells sweets and cigarettes at night and we live in a single room. It is really very sad people are telling me I’m rude, that I’m a brat because I post things on Instagram which I don’t know. I don’t have access to my social media accounts, its Joe Mwangi who controls them” said Wendy Waeni.
Ms Waeni went on to say that she has forgiven Joe Mwangi who was taking advantage of her, and all she wants is for him to hand over all her social media accounts.

“One request for him, I forgive you but please return my Instagram password and all my social media accounts” added Wendy Waeni.

Waeni, who is also the UNICEF Champion for Childrens Rights Ambassador, mentioned that Interior CS Fred Matiang'i is the one paying her school fees.
