Even before the Burna Boy Drama settles another Nigerian artist is on his way to Kenya

But even before their words could settle on twitter, another Nigerian artist will be making his way into the country.

The hit maker of the song “WOYO” Timaya, is set to stage a performance at Waterfront at the Ngong Racecourse on April 8 as from 2pm till dawn.

Born Inetimi Alfred Odon but popularly known as Timaya is expected in the country on April 5 and thereafter hold a pre-party at the Bleaulounge with socialite Huddah Monroe as the host.

Timaya who’s solo career began in 2005 with the release of “Dem Mama” that also appeared on his album “True story”.

Currently Timaya is ruling the airwaves with anew jam called “SamanKwe” that he was featured by Harrysongs.

Timaya is among the biggest names in the Nigerian music industry and he has been able to win a number awards and all thanks to his unique composure of songs.

In 2008 and 2009 Timaya won Best Reggae/Dancehall Album of the year in the Nigeria Music Awards for his two albums True Story and Gift and Grace.

The visit of Timaya to Kenya will add hius name to the list of his fellow Naigerias who have been in the country for different reasons. Among them Yemi alade, Davido, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Chidnma, Runtown, Burna Boy among others.

Kenyan rapper Khaligraph Jones is also on the list of those who will be bringing the house down during the Timaya event.

Early birds tickets will be going for Sh1500 while advance tickets are Sh2000, as the VIP goes for 5000. At the gate the tickets will be retailing at Sh3000.
