Uhuru picks Citizen TV’s boss for cabinet position

He has gone for the big fish.

Karoney has worked as the COO for 3 years and 6 months and has also served as the Group Editorial Director for Royal Media Services.

The Royal Media Services stable includes Citizen TV, Inooro TV, Ramogi FM, Egesa FM, Bahari FM, Radio Citizen, Muuga FM, Hot 96, Musyi FM, Chamgei FM and Wĩmwaro FM among others.

She previously worked at KTN as the Assistant Director for Broadcasting and also as the Head of Editorial.

Other nominations include Margaret Kobia as CS for Public Service, Youth and Gender Affairs, CS Eugene Wamalwa for Ministry of Devolution, Monica Juma as the Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs and Rashid Achesa Mohammed as the new Cabinet Secretary for Sports.
