Waihiga Mwaura’s wife lands TV job

Citizen TV news anchor Waihiga Mwaura’s wife Joyce Omondi has landed a TV job years after quitting Citizen TV.

In a post she shared on Instagram, Mrs Waihiga announced that she would be working with Switch TV.

She also disclosed that she will host a weekly live lifestyle show from Mondays to Fridays at the newest Television station in Kenya.

After an almost 6-year break, I'm excited to get back onto your TV screens beginning January 7th with my new talk and lifestyle show, Full Circle with Joyce! (Whaaattt?!) The show will air every Monday To Friday, Live on @switchtvkefrom 8 to 9am!! God is so good. He really makes all things beautiful in His time! I sure hope you all will be part of this journey with me!” she said in another post.

The news of Joyce Omondi making her TV comeback came a few months after her husband Waihiga won the BBC’s Komla Dumor Award.

Joyce Omondi left Citizen TV in 2013 where she worked as Gospel show Rauka host alongside Kubamba’s Ngugush. After she left, the singer went abroad for her Master’s Degree before she came back in 2015 for their wedding.

The two have been married for three years.
