From the ashes of the bruising party primaries, a crop of prominent personalities and celebrities have risen and taken the leadership mantle to represent the people in various parts of the country.

John Kiarie aka KJ (MP Dagoretti South- Jubilee)

John Kiarie was on Thursday declared winner in the ongoing Jubilee party nominations.

Kiarie garnered Kiarie 9,793 votes against the incumbent MP Dennis Waweru's 9,051 votes.

Gathoni Wa Muchomba (Woman Rep Kiambu - Jubilee)

The top vernacular radio journalist is set to become the next Woman Representative after flooring the incumbent Anne Nyokabi in the Jubilee Party primaries after garnering a massive 374,306 votes.

Ngunjiri Wambugu (MP Nyeri Town - Jubilee)

Political analyst Ngunjiri Wambugu on Thursday was declared the Jubilee Nyeri town MP winner after beating incumbent Esther Murugi.

Wambugu garnered over 17,517 votes against that of Murugi who got 11,143 in the polls.

Ben Oluoch Okello (Senator Migori - ODM)

The popular former presenter formerly with Radio Ramogi, won the ODM Migori senatorial primaries beating a competitive field of experienced politicians.

Okello floored rivals Gordon Odhiambo and Michael Otieno who garnered 28,696 and 24,997 votes respectively.
