Musyoka stated that he will not support Ngilu's bid for the Kitui Gubernatorial seat highlighting that he will be supporting Wiper's candidate.
The former Vice President added that despite them working together under the National Super Alliance (Nasa) he will be drumming support for his own in the region.
"I am happy we are all speaking in one voice as a community, but Wiper needs numbers in national and county assemblies and therefore Mrs. Ngilu being in a party that is in competition with us must appreciate that,” he said.
While advocating for six-piece voting Mr. Musyoka asked Ngilu to emulate Machakos aspiring Governor Wavinya Ndeti, who folded Chama Cha Uzalendo and joined Wiper.
“Nasa is going to win this election but I don’t want to be a deputy president without governors and foot soldiers in both county and national assemblies to implement our agenda,” the Nasa presidential running mate divulged.
In response, Ngilu noted that he will not back down.
“I have no problem with Kalonzo’s stand because it is not the gospel truth. He’s trying to market a very unpopular governor and he will be embarrassed at the ballot," he said.
