Mary Wambui and Mildred Odira murders will now be investigated by special detectives from the homicide division of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).

According to DCI boss George Kinoti, in the Mildred Odira's murder investigations, samples collected from suspects will be analyzed for positive matches with those collected from the deceased's body.
Kinoti added that he has ordered through assessment of the statement given by suspects as well as a speedy conclusion to the matters.
Judy Wangui's house-help questioned
In the case of Mary Wambui Kamangara, DCI boss Kinoti revealed that Judy Wangui's house help had also been questioned.
It is alleged that the help had been instructed to clean up Mary's blood after her murder at Wangui's Fourways apartment.
Police are expected to give conclusive results of the investigations at the end of February.
CCTV footage reviewed by investigators coupled with a confession from taxi driver Michael Mathenge have provided a possible airtight witness that implicates Wangui of the brutal murder.
Mary's husband, Joseph Kori, was allegedly in Ngong at the time of his wife's murder.
Mildred's murder remains a mystery as the taxi driver who picked her up from her house remains mum on what transpired between the time when he picked her up to the point that her body was found mutilated around Mwiki area.
