Wetangula’s afternoon tweet backfires

A pot calling the kettle black..!

A tweet purported to reprimand embattled Tourism CS Najib Balala, urging him to, in fact, resign, turned sour when Kenyans instead reminded him of his tendencies to avoid crucial National Super Alliance events, including the January 30 mock swearing-in of Raila Odinga.

“In civilised & law abiding jurisdictions, Balala would either have reconsidered his position or made to do so after the rhino fiasco,” Wetangula opined, but this was to his shock.

A tweep reminded Wetangula of a once dubious deal in Tokyo where Kenya’s embassy was sold, at a time he was serving as the ambassador. Others busted the senator for being insincere.

“Did you reconsider yours after the Tokyo scandal, acha kutupima akili. However, Balala should resign,” Were Jacob tweeted to Wetangula.

Hezzy Hezzy added: “You mean when you embezzled Tokyo Embassy we never had civilized and law abiding jurisdictions?”
