Joho vs Sonko
In the study conducted by Tifa Research, Joho scored a C grade of 53 % while Sonko had a D+ of 44 %. This was a public opinion survey of what locals believed the two had done since they were elected to office.
In terms of environmental cleanliness, Mombasa outdid Nairobi.
As per the responses, Nairobi’s environmental cleanliness was ranked at 35 percent while Mombasa residents believe that Joho’s performance in this regard stands at 42 percent.
The survey also focused on Kisumu County led by Governor Anyang Nyong’o and the City outscored the two by attaining a C+ grade (56 %).
Nairobi’s sewerage system is the poorest among the three counties while Mombasa is the best county to conduct business in.
Nearly 3 out of 10 Nairobians went without eating any meal for a whole day in the past 12 months.
This comes at a time Governor Sonko has been facing public outrage over the deplorable conditions in Nairobi.
Nairobians have been up in arms demanding the Governor to fix the highly-potholed roads in the city and collect garbage littered everywhere.
