Maseno Universty students are crying for help after two ladies were reportedly raped and one beaten mercilessly by an unknown gang.

The unfortunate incident happened after the armed thugs broke intoa house where the two ladies were with a colleague.
The third lady resisted the orders and was thoroughly beaten by the gang that also stole from a neighbouring house.
The students took to twitter to call on the DCI and Fred Matiang'i to intervene over the rising cases of insecurity, theft and violence that has put their lives at risk.

From the Hashtag #Masenolivesmatter, some of the students narrated how they escaped death by a whisker after people who they claim to be from the neighbouring community chased them with pangas.

They termed the institution as a slaughter House and blamed the police for not taking action whenever they faced the life-threatening scenarios.
It was not immediately clear if the victims of the rape and violence were students at the institution.
