Self-declared general and opposition activist Miguna Miguna is in mourning following the death of his sister-in-law, Angelina Aoko Ondiek.

The exiled opposition activist took to the social media on September 28, 2019, sharing the sad news and recounting his relationship with the deceased.

He remembered Angelina for her golden heart, remembering the close relationship they developed when the deceased was raising him.

His statement read in part that “You raised me when I was a young boy. We have had a fantastic relationship for decades. You had the heart of pure gold,” read the advocate’s statement”.

Alluding to his exile in Canada, Miguna lamented that he had been robbed of an opportunity to say goodbye to his departed kin.

“Unfortunately, the despots (President Uhuru Kenyatta and allies) have made sure that I could not say goodbye to you. Rest in Peace,” Miguna wrote.

His followers took to Twitter to condole with the deported activist, praying for the family through the trying times.
