Miguna shows his soft side with romantic message to wife; Kenyans react in shock

Outspoken lawyer and activist Miguna Miguna on Sunday night surprised Kenyans after he posted a romantic birthday message to his wife Jane Miguna.

Although Miguna is known as a man of words with a special talent to come up with catchy phrases and tags such as “come baby come” and “despotic duo”; he is mostly known for his confrontational style.

Court of Appeal Judge Mohamed Warsame once described Miguna as a man with a “relentless sense of fighting back…. who appears unpredictable and ready to fight…and as a man living in a mental darkroom”.

On Sunday, however, Miguna joined the world in celebrating Mother’s Day which also happened to be his wife’s birthday.

“To my lovely wife, the mother of my children: Happy Birthday and Enjoy Mother's Day. The struggle is well watered and fertilized by ORGANIC AFRICAN BEAUTY! Aluta Continua! Viva!” Miguna posted.

The message went viral, many cheekily noting that Jane needed some hardship allowance for tolerating Miguna’s perceived belligerence.

“Very beautiful, so MM can love and can have such a wonderful lady. Happy Mother’s Day she deserves some hardship allowance,” Godwin Sabwani said.

“Kitu huyu MAMA amepitia ni mungu tu anajua. She must be the STRONGEST MOTHER cum wife in Kenya, Canada and Pluto,” Anko Muruli Muhande stated.

“Happy birthday Mrs MM.... you are strong Mama🤣😂🤣😂 ukiona umevumilia na miguna, you are a strong Mama... happy mother's day,” Kevin Sang commented.

As the message poured in, Miguna edited the post, adding a clarification that his wife was even more intolerant to the so called “despots” than he was.

“To my lovely wife, the mother of my children: Happy Birthday and Enjoy Mother's Day. The revolutionary struggle is well watered and fertilized by ORGANIC AFRICAN BEAUTY! (She is more intolerant and uncompromising towards zombies, despots and renegades than I am!) Aluta Continua! Viva!” Miguna posted.
