The Kenya Urban Roads Authority have issued a critical warning to Kenyan drivers across Nairobi.

According to the notice Ring Road Kilimani, access to Ngong road will remain closed for 4 days.

This will be effective from Monday 10th July to Thursday 13th July 2017 to allow for the construction works on Ngong road.

Motorists have been directed to use Kindaruma Road as an alternative route as the construction works continue.

"The public is requested to cooperate and bear with the situation as we endeavour to improve our Urban Road Network," the public notice reads in part.

This is part of the expansion of Ngong road funded through a grant by the Japanese Government under its Economic Co-operation Programme Project and is being supervised by Tokyo based Katahira and Engineers International.
