President Uhuru Kenyatta's cousins Ngengi Muigai and Beth Mugo on Wednesday made a visit to former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.

Conveying his joy at the visit, Mr Odinga posted a photo of the three of them with a caption describing part of what they discussed.

Beth and Ngengi are brother and sister, the children of brother to founding President Jomo Kenyatta, James Ngengi Muigai.

In June 2018, Ngengi won a protracted legal battle over ownership of land he had inherited from his father.

The courts established that he was the rightful owner of Muiri Coffee Estate which is valued at Sh3 billion.

Ngengi is also the brother to Retired Captain Kung'u Muigai who gave a touching tribute to former Interior CS Joseph Nkaissery at his funeral.
