Former Uchumi CEO lands new role at Jubilee Holdings

Kipngetich holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelors of Commerce degree (Accounting) from the University of Nairobi.

Mr. Kipng’etich has been named regional chief executive officer (CEO) of Jubilee Holdings Ltd with effect from Jan 1, 2018.

The decorated CEO was expected to bring his 'magic wand' to Kenya's  struggling retainer and turn its fortunes around however after two years of service and nothing much to show for it he tendered his resignation to pursue personal interests.

Prior to joining Uchumi, Kipngetich served as Equity Group Holdings Limited chief operating officer from October 2012 to September 2015.

He also served as KWS CEO between December 2004 and September 2012 where he turned around the organisation from loss making.

He has also served as the managing director of Investment Promotion Centre and is currently a member of the Standard Group board.
