Kenyan Shilling remains stable after President Uhuru and Raila Odinga meet for the first time

“We must come together to scoop the water that's been sipping in or we will all sink.” Mr. Odinga told the media after the meeting.
“We have come together to find solutions that will bind Kenyans together that will unify our country and that will give us a lifecycle that is beyond the five years we have established for ourselves. Elections come and go but Kenya remains.” Mr. Uhuru added.
The shilling closed at 101.22 on Thursday and opened at 101.28 on Friday.
During the day, the shilling day’s range performance against the dollar was between 101.10 – 101.32 and closed at 102.20.
The Central Bank indicatives rate for Friday was the shilling trading at 102.20 against the dollar.
