Forest flying is the latest activity introduced in Kenya where adrenaline junkies and adventure addicts can go and answer their call of the wild.

'The Forest' refers collectively to The Adventure Centre built in Kereita Forest; the perfect getaway for Kenyans and tourists, within easy reach, at affordable prices, and replete with exciting adventure activities.
The Adventure Centre, offers a wide range of fun activities ranging from zip line tour, mountain biking, walking, archery, paintball, tree planting, fly fishing, and team building activities.
The Forest is easily accessible, just 45 minutes from Nairobi city center.

Flying Fox’s 6 zip line tour packs offer unprecedented views of Kereita Forest and the Aberderes range.
Speeds can reach up to 75km/h (45mph).
The activity takes approximately 2 hours to complete, including safety brief, practice zip, and short walks in between.
The flying fox zip wire was established this year and is managed by Flying Fox Company.
Contrary to what you would have expected, zip lining is not for the haves alone even the haves not can come and have a time of their lives.
To take a full tour of 6 ziplines across the valleys of the forest all one need to part with is Sh2,500 ($25) per head.
While taking a 2 line tour and get a feel of the experience only costs Sh1500 ($15) per head.
It is advisable to make a booking in advance in order to enjoy your zipline tour.
Doing so is easy, all one needs to do is head to their page identify which activity you want to indulge in and pay using M-Pesa or credit card.
You have to have a minimum height requirement of 1.4m (average 9yr old) and a maximum weight limit of 115kgs to be allowed to glide over the breathtaking canopy of the Kereita forest.
