Kenyan immigrants in the US ranked 3rd most hardworking people

Official estimates put the number of Kenyans in the US at 130,000

This is according to a report analyzing the work and job skill among immigrant groups in the United States of America.

Ghana topped the list that also featured three other African countries including Ethiopia (4), Nigeria (8) and Liberia (9).

"African-born immigrants to the US are more skilled, harder-working, and more ready to integrate than those who come from other parts of the world," said the report developed by Bloomberg’s Justin Fox, a famed American financial journalist.

Official estimates put the number of Kenyans in the US at 130,000 with a good number of them running successful enterprises while others are students.

The survey said that Kenya, Ghana, Nigeria and Nepal were the countries with the most number of its immigrants enrolled in higher education in the US after Saudi Arabians.

Likewise, the four countries have the most number of its immigrants employed in the US.
