The opposition leader seems to have declared his support for the Nigerian football team going by his tweet on Saturday evening that read: "Well done Nigeria Goodluck to the Super Eagles! Who are you supporting in this year's World Cup?"
The tweet stirred up mixed reactions online but also came as a surprise to his followers on a platform he mainly uses to address political and economic issues.
