Ghana’s President Akufo-Addo meets the media on Friday, December 13, here’s what to expect

Ghana’s Ministry of Information has revealed that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will on Friday, December 13, 2019, meet the press.

The President, according to the ministry, will account for his stewardship to Ghanaians almost three years since being elected as the President of the Republic.

This move is coming at a time when some think tanks have evaluated and scored the government marks in its performance.

The Information Ministry said this in a press statement issued.

The meeting will be the third since assuming power as the 5th President of the fourth Republic.

“The President is expected to speak about the performance of his government in areas of the economy, governance, health, education, security among others, and what he is doing to turn around the fortunes of the country,” the ministry said.

Adding that the meeting will also afford journalists the opportunity to ask the President key questions they which he hasn’t sufficiently addressed at various forums and also know about his plans on the economy and the lives of many Ghanaians.
