Kenyan football's horrible year continued after the latest FIFA ranking saw the Harambee Stars drop a whooping 14 places to 102.
Harambee Stars in free fall on FIFA ranking
The team lost twice in the month of October
That is a long way from its glory days in 2008 when the team was ranked in the top 70 in the world and competed regularly with the best on the continent.
The team paid the price for a poor international break which saw them record a 1-0 loss to Thailand and later a 2-1 loss to Iraq.
On the continent, the drop sees the team drop to 25th place and with very little international football left on the calendar, there is little chance of seeing the team rise on the ramking.
Kenya was in September stripped off the right to host the 2018 CHAN by CAF after it failed to meet preparation deadlines.
