Flamboyant city business man sues Anerlisa Muigai
The fight continues
According to eDaily, Kangangi claims that Anerlisa’s story of the Sh19.9 million loan she took contains falsehoods and has injured his character and reputation making him subject to public ridicule and contempt in the eyes of right thinking members of society.
“They were published with deliberate malice by the defendant who knows or ought to have known that the statements are not true. As a result, the Plaintiff has suffered loss in his transactions, loss of respect amongst his friends, business associates, family,” said the case filled by Conrad Maloba and Associates.
He further stated that he is an established businessman dealing in imports and sale of high-end automobiles, equipment, fashion apparel and interior designs materials and has an annual turnover of Sh100 million, with 7 employees working directly under him and another 30 indirectly, and he has not been in touch with Anerlisa since 2015 despite being close friends.
Anerlisa on March 19 posted that she had borrowed Sh19.9 million on behalf of Ben Kangangi after word went round that she had been sued by Dennis Mwangeka the owner of Mwanachi Credit for failing to repay the loan.
She further alleged that the two (Kangangi and Mwangeka) were conmen working together to defraud her of her money.
