There are those who successfully managed to convince Kenyans to vote for them but others were shocked by the outcome after realizing that they did not make it.

Those who failed can try their luck come 2022, probably Kenyans could have changed their minds and ready to accommodate as their leaders.

Boniface Mwangi

The party leader of Ukweli Party, Boniface Mwangi lost in the Starehe Constituency race after emerging third behind Steve Mbogo and Charles Njagua (Jaguar).

Mwangi who is a renowned activist was campaigning to represent Starehe People in the August House but his bid was cut short.

Steve Mbogo

Flamboyant Business man Steve Mbogo who was running on an ODM ticket lost in the August polls to Jaguar a fellow celebrity.

Mbogo who was giving Jaguar a run for his money came in second in the Starehe Constituency race.

Ali Khamisi Mwaliguli ( Ali B)

Ali B had sought a MCA seat in Junda, Kisauni, Mombasa County. He managed to secure the 2 position among the 18 aspirants in the race.

Frasha (Francis Amis)

Francis Amis aka Frasha of the famous music group P-Unit secured a ticket to run for MCA to represent the people of Athi River Township.

However, Frasha pulled out of the race before the Elections day.

Cannibal

Cannibal had sought the Mtopanga MCA seat during the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party primaries but lost.

Julius Ondijo Owino ( Maji Maji)

Renowned Ghetto Radio Presenter Julius Owino aka Maji Maji lost in the MCA race for Embakasi East.

Maji maji emerged third among 9 aspirants.

Kendagor Obadia

Former Journalist Kendagor Obadia lost in the August polls. He was vying for Mp seat in West Pokot.

Michael Machachari Odiyo (Coaches)

The Machachari actor was seeking an MCA seat in Imara Daima, Nairobi.

He came 4th after garnering 2,111 votes amongst 14 aspirants.

David Makali

David Makali a former Journalsi at Citizen TV lost in the race to become the next senator for Bungoma County.

However his brother, John Makali was elected the new MP for Kanduyi constituency
