Huddah’s unexpected response after being nominated in international awards against Vera Sidika
No, thank you!
“You choose me for awards that I don’t even bother about… lol! My craft is mine and mine alone to celebrate with those who believe in me. I never in my life failed at anything I do. So I know I’m not competing with No. 1. I just do me, focus on HUDDAH,” she said.
The socialite and fashionpreneur went ahead and stated that she does not have competition in Africa because she does her own things.
“I have no competition… not in Africa especially. Maybe in the USA… I’m just doing HUDDAH how HUDDAH is supposed to be done. Focused on my lane,” she added.
Her words come just a day after she was nominated against top East African socialites Zari Hassan, Vera Sidika, and Hamisa Mobetto in the Black Entertainment Film Fashion Television and Arts (BEFFTA) Awards for Best East African Woman Entrepreneur 2018.
Other nominees in the Category included; Actress Sarah Hassan, Mbabazi Shadia, and Jackylin Ntuyabaliwe.
