EXCLUSIVE: Why Harmonize broke down in Tears at Koroga Festival [Photos]

Harmonize gave an electrifying performance at Koroga

In an exclusive Interview with Pulselive.co.ke, Harmonize explained that he was overwhelmed by emotions due to the love he was receiving from the crowd that had graced the concert.

He added that this was his first time to perform to such a big crowd in Kenya that was singing word for word to all of his songs.

Konde Boy performed songs Like; Kwangwaru, Show, Fire Waist, Bado, Aiyola, Happy Birthday, pull up among others. Nigerian artiste Krizbeatz made a surprise appearance, joining Harmonize on stage for their track 911 featuring Yemi Alade.

“Kwanza kabisa niwashukuru kila mtu amabaye amekuja and Kororga  kuniami kwakuoina kwamba Harmonize anafakuperfom katika Koroga. Kwangu mimi ni kitu kikubwa sana, Kwa sabubu naamini katika kila hatua. Mimi nimeanza muziki kama miaka mitatu iliyopita na nilikuwa sijapata show ya Kenya ambayo ilikuwa na crowd kubwa vile mara nyingi nimekuwa nikikuja kufanya club performance, lakini leo nimeona upendo na jinsi amabavyo waKenya wanavyoimba nyimbo zangu. Energy ilikuwa kubwa na nashukuru sana wote waliokuja kunipa sapoti yao.” said Harmonize during an Interview with Pulse Live.

“Hisia zinatoka na mazingira na Nyimbo ambayo mtu anaperfom. Ikiwa ni Nyimbo ya Furaha utaniona nafurahi sana, lakini kama ni nyimbo yenye hisia basi utaona Harmonize amakuwa ni mtu wa hisia sana kwenye stage. Alafu pia ile Love kutoka kwa mafans na jinsi wanavyoimba Nyimbo zangu hii inanipa furaha ya  mpak nashindwa kujizuia"

Album Launch

“Album yangu nitakuwa naachia Januari mwaka ujao. Nimeanza kurekodi kuanzia Mwezi watatu na ambacho nikifanya ni kuhakikisha kuwa Muziki wetu ambao tumeimba katika Kishwahili unafika kote duniani. Nataka Album yangu iwe na wasanii kutoka Kenya, Rwanda, Nigeria, South Africa Uganda, Jamaica, Marekani na kote kote. Mpaka kufikia mwezi wa Kumi na Mbili Album itakuwa imekamilika na Januari inatoka.

Harmonize ameonaka kuwa na Collabo nyingi Zaidi katika Label ya WCB, hili linachanjiwa na nini” asked the presenter

“Mimi naammi kuwa Ninapofanya collabo na mtu ni kuwa tunabadilishana mashabiki, inatokea kuwa mashabiki wangu wanamjua  niliyemshirikishwa na pia mashabiki wake pia wanapata furusa ya kunijua mimi. Halafu pia naamini kuwa ule ukubwa ambao ninao sasa hivi ndipo unaona kuwa nina collabo nyingi Zaidi."

He added that in most cases he doesn’t charge fellow artiste’s for collaborations.

Harmonize graced the second day of Koroga Festival alongside South African group Big Nuz and Kenyan Blinky Bill.

On the first day, The Kansoul and Tunji entertained fans at the 23rd Koroga Edition.
