Having a charismatic MC at your event is guaranteed to keep the crowd hyped up and provide a little entertainment for the gathering.

So having a person who is an entertainer in real life host your event will make your event extra-popping.

However, having a celebrity entertainer at your event doesn’t come cheap as MC Jesse disclosed. The Churchill Raw/Show comedian revealed that he cannot go home with less than 200, 000 Kshs for a gig.

But before you huff and puff over the amount, MC Jesse has worked his way up to his current earnings because when he came to Nairobi he started out a shamba boy at an MPs house. A never-known-before fact he disclosed to Nairobi news.

When he cleared high school Jesse travelled to the big city to eke out a living where he lived in Kawangware at a former classmate's home.

At his classmate’s house, he learned to make chips and mandazis which he would sell. And while in Nairobi he bumped into an old classmate whose father was an MP and he soon relocated from Kawangware to the MP's house where he was employed as a shamba boy.
