In an Interview with Millard Ayo, Ommy mentioned that he is in a very serious relationship with a US based lady with whom they already have a baby together.
Ommy was responding to questions of his frequent visits to US explaining that he had a young family that demands his attention every now and then.

Asked on whether he would like his kid to follow in his footsteps, “Mtoto mpe choice, ayakavo kuwa unamwangalia, kile anachotaka kufanyabasi ndo hicho, yeye anapenda nini."

On June 6th, Ommy surprised his fans after he introduced the baby to the world, asking if it safe to bring the Baby to Tanzania.
“Vipi Dengue Imeisha Nirudi nae? Haya Nafikiri yale Maswali ya unafanya nini Ulaya kila siku YAMEISHA,” asked the singer.
Despite going public with the information about his relationship and family, Ommy did not mention the name of his baby mama or that of his kid.

In 2015, it was reported that he was dating a lady by the name Zerthun who stayed in the United States and going by his latest confession, he might be the same lady they have sired a kid together.
Previously, it was rumoured he was dating actress Wema Sepetu but he affirmed their relationship was professional.
“My relationship with Wema is totally professional. However, I don’t think Diamond is interested in what his ex is up to,” said Ommy.
