Jacque Maribe got to enjoy a birthday surprise at the Citizen TV offices after a long day in court.

As Edaily reports, Maribe was told by the Director of Innovation and Strategy Linus Kaikai that she was required to sign a work-related letter so after court around 4 pm she settled into the newsroom.

As soon as arrived at the newsroom Editorial Director Joe Ageyo and Linus Kaikai and the Swahili news Managing Editor Jamila Mohamed came into the newsroom carrying the cake.

Her fellow colleagues Swaleh Mdoe, Francis Gachuri, Hassam Mugambi, Sam Gituku, Enock Sikolia among others joined in the celebration.

Sweet Messages

Prior to the birthday celebration, a number of her friends including Dennis Itumbi and Shix Kapienga had sent out some beautiful messages on social media.

“2018 has been a nightmare for you ma' but that doesn't mean 2019 will be the same...with God by your side, everything is possible!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, love. Welcome to your breakthrough season @jacquemaribe,” Shix wrote.
