Ruth further divulged that she kept being in relationships that eventually didn’t work but she kept the hope alive.

“I hoped that God would bring me a man who would stay, someone who would understand my vision and he has finally answered my prayers as I am getting married this year.”

Attempted suicide

A month ago, the talented singer opened up on the hurdles she has been through that led her to attempt suicide several times.

She revealed that she has had a tough year in her relationships and financially. Ruth wrote,“I'm sure we all have that one time in our lives when things were so bad we can't compare it with any other time in our lives. I have such a year. And I remember how everything was not working for me. Thought of taking my life to end all the pain and misery... And to some point I actually tried but I wasn't successful because God.I kept trying to kill myself to no avail”

The singer said it got to a point where she did not want to hear ‘God will make a way’  because she wanted a solution immediately. She further disclosed that it got to a point where she went to live with her father because he was not convinced that she would be safe staying alone.
