It’s official! Vanessa Mdee confirms break-up with Jux

Tanzanian songbird Vanessa Mdee has finally confirmed her break up with longtime singer boyfriend Juma Jux.

In a question and answer session with her Instagram followers, a fan asked whether it was true that she had parted ways with Jux.

“Wewe na Juma mmeachana??” asked the follower.

Vanessa Mdee then responded to the curious fan saying that it is true they are no longer a couple. She went on to say that despite parting ways, they will forever remain to be a family.

“Ndio, lakini we are good friends and forever family,” she wrote back.

Mimi Mars

Her confirmation comes just a few weeks after her sister Mimi Mars confirmed that they were not together.

In an interview, Mimi disclosed that the two parted ways sometime back and now they were just friends.

Emotional message

A few days later, Vanessa Mdee wrote an emotional message saying that she has always shown how strong she was, but it was time she showed her fans how dejected she was.

She went on to say that she had cried for some time and had not eaten, cancelled meetings and even locked herself in her house because she felt lonely.

Mdee added that coming out to say what she has been going through the past few days was not because she wanted to be pitied, but to make people understand that everyone goes through highs and lows in life.
