The singer poured out her heart in a lengthy message celebrating the life her mother lived and at the same time expressed how much she missed her.

Unfortunately Size 8’s mum passed away the same day the singer welcomed her first child, Ladashabelle, and for this reason the singer got to experience the bitter taste of life and death.

In her message she explained the reason she was not able to attend her mum’s burial is because she was having some complications and that her baby had been born under weight.

I posted this pic exactly one year ago. This was one of the most confused and emotionally twisted times of my life. How did I even get through it? It must be the Grace of God. I lost you mum, I never even got a chance to even bury you. Sorry mum, I was too sick to travel and Ladasha Belle was born so underweight she couldn’t travel also. I wish you could see her now; she is grown. You were the person who was concerned about her and prayed for her the most even when the devil wanted to take her life but yet you never saw her. Your prayers reached heaven cause this baby is just a blessing. I can’t stop crying cause I miss you so much. You were such a mighty woman of God, you taught me how to pray and preserve you gave me so much wisdom. Love you always.”

The Pale Pale hit maker however is thankful that even though her mum was taken away from her, she got the best gift she could have ever asked for.

Size 8, husband and family gathered this past weekend to celebrate Ladashabelle's 1st birthday in Nyeri.
