Text messages late Carol Mwatha sent to 'mpango wa kando' just before visiting clinic (Revealed)

New Revelation into the death of Activist Carol Mwatha

Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have managed to retrieve text message the late Carol Mwatha exchanged with his alleged Mpango wa Kando just before visiting the New Njiru Community Center in Dandora Phase four to procure an abortion.

According to Nairobi news, Ms mwatha had informed her alleged lover Alexander Gitau Gikonya that she was going to the clinic and kept on updating him on the progress.

In one of the messages, Mwatha explains to Gikonya that she was in pain the whole night promising to get better after visiting the clinic. From the conversation it’s evident that the two had agreed to do get rid of the pregnancy.

In another text, Ms Mwatha expressed her worries in procuring the abortion saying the baby was already 5 months.

“Niko poa no worries bt kesho lazima niraukie hossy aki usiki ndio nalemewa mbaya plus homa bt all will be ok ny ave a lovely day ahead n tkcre bbie.miss uuu.

“Nishafika hossy already juz pray for me thanx and love u.”

“Ndio anacull ule anafaa kucome kunidunga ndio nikimaliza niende niwait jioni nirudi nt anadai katoi kako 5 months.”

“Alikuwa anadai 7k nikaataa sasa amekubali 6k anasema nijob mpob kufanya hivyo bt amekubali.”

“Ndio nimetoka kumuona amesema niwait kiasi bt amecheki mtoi size na vile niko”

“Nimebitiwa kiasi the rest anarudi saa nane wakamalize na kuniosha naskia tub arid kwa wingi kutoka juzi nimekua naumwa sijakula anything aki bt nahope by 4-5 kila kitu itakuwa swany juz continue praying day all goes well, thnx”

Opted for Abortion

Detectives are looking into the text message to establish why the two opted for an abortion that led to the death of activist Mwatha.

However, Mwatha was married to Joshua Ochieng who works in Dubai and it's believed his wife was seeing Gikonyo behind his back.

Following Mwatha's death, six people have been arrested and arraigned in court.

They include Mr Gikonya (the boyfriend), Betty Akinyi Nyanya alias Betty Ramoya, Richard Ramoya Abudo (Betty’s son), Georgia Achieng Tabitha, Michael Onchiri alias Dr Mike and Mr Stephen Maina (an Uber driver).
