Kalekye Mumo makes her way back on radio 3 months after quitting Kiss 100

Kalekye Mumo quit Kiss 100 in July 2016 after spending a decade on airwaves. Three months into her hiatus, Kalekye has decided to make a comeback on radio.

Radio queen Kalekye Mumo quit Kiss 100’s breakfast show amid rumors of dissention with Radio Africa Group’s Chief Executive Patrick Quarcoo.

After her exit from Kiss 100, Kalekye concentrated her time and energy on her newly launched YouTube channel dubbed, ‘The Me I Want’ where she discusses a variety of fitness related topics.

Even as she was occupied with her new show on YouTube, part of Kalekye still wanted to be back on radio. And she has finally got it.

Her new radio home is What’s Good Radio (wgRADIO.FM), a subsidiary of online entertainment dubbed Good Networks.

Kalekye will be hosting a weekly show called ‘Live and Direct’alongside DJ Wabba, it airs from 10am to 12 noon.

“I love RADIO… it’s no lie!!#TeamKalekye you have begged me to get back, I have obliged… once a week kama dawa #LiveAndDirect on WGradio.FM just google and get online coz it different with crazy mixes by Dj Wabba 10am-12noon.” Kalekye posted.
