Meet bodaboda tycoon who has become the talk of Nairobi

How far would you go for your business?

In order to beat out his competition, boda boda operator Peter Mwangi Wanjama decided to pimp out his motorbike with artificial grass.

According to Mr. Wanjama, his pimped out ride helps him pocket double what he used to make before he added the extra 'décor'- he would pocket between Ksh. 800 and Ksh. 1000 before.

Being in the boda boda business since 2008, Wanjama tried to enhance his motorbike like everyone else but nothing seemed to work for him thus forcing him to think outside the box.

“This idea came to me less than two weeks ago and when I tried it, it looked great,” he told The Standard.

Wanjama’s creativity attracted so much attention that even his fellow boda boda friends seek his ‘pimping out rides’ services.

“For 1600cc bikes and above like mine I charge Sh10,000,” he said.

Kudos to Mr. Wanjama for thinking outside the box to keep his business booming.

What lengths would you go to, to take your business to the next level?
