Company boss's email ranking women workmates heavily backfires on him
"It was just a joke," he said.
The former The &Partnership boss, Paul Martin, sent a very distasteful email to his colleagues where he ranked his female colleagues based on their looks.
Martin claimed the email was just a joke and said he was to trying to "satirise" machismo on his last day of work at the company.
‘I don’t know this Paul Martin, but I suggest he stick to media planning and doesn’t turn his hand to comedy,’ an annoyed male Twitter user wrote according to Metro UK.
Martin then posted a lengthy apology stating that he took full responsibility for his mistake and he had to donated to the TIME'S UP legal defense fund.
He added, "This behaviour is never something to joke about and I’m incredibly sorry for my unforgivable naivety and being further complicit in contributing to an outdated and oppressive culture for women."
The company issued a statement condemning the sexist behaviour.
