The busy Thika Road was treated to a dose of theatre after a 'matatu' plying the route refused to render their services to a ‘Nairobi Slay queen.’
Thika Road 'Matatu' refuses to carry girl dressed in revealing short dress
Commuters warned the touts that they would all alight if the girl boarded the 'matatu'
The lady, who was dressed in a very tiny short wanted to board a 'matatu' at the Allsopps bus stage, but other commuters and even the conductors refused to carry her citing indecent dressing.
The girl, probably in her early twenties could not believe it when commuters asked 'matatu' conductors not to carry her or risk losing them all.
Ultimatum
Taking to social media just minutes after the 'free cinema', a social media user identified as Peris shared photos of the said slay queen hustling to catch a ride, and revealed how she had annoyed quite a crowd.
''Aki slay queens or whatever u call ourselves, decency is what makes a person be called human from how u dress n how u act, av spotted this lady at allsops thika rd,people yelling n screaming at her,mat zinamkataa. We are Africans n it means respect..'' she wrote
