Gospel artist collapses and dies in church

He died shortly after performing on stage.

The announcement was made by Kithaitho kya Kyeni (Worship in the light) who wrote on their Facebook:

“We are sad to announce the death of Daniel Tetemesha a gospel singer who was performing at GRC Chuluni, Kitui. On finishing his performance, he fainted, lost consciousness and dies. May he rest in peace.”

He is survived by his wife Purity whom he wed in August last year.

His friends and fans condoled with the family. Here are some of their tribute messages:

Festus Nyamai: I still can’t believe you have left us bro Daniel Tetemesha. You have been a blessing through music ministry to Kambaland and beyond. Rest in eternal peace till we meet in glory.

Evangelist Darius Wesley:Rest in peace bro Daniel Tetemesha. So sad that you rested immediately after ministering.My heartfelt condolences to the family members. RIP BRO.

Angeline Ivongo:Daniel Tetemesha, Rip, I will personally miss your worship, for sure Jesus will come like a thief, let’s get prepared…
