Bungoma woman gives birth to huge 6KG baby, more than twice the national average weight

The nursing officer in charge of theatre Stanley Limo said Kesis was admitted to the facility on Wednesday, April 11 at about 5.30pm while in labour.
"After a series of checkups, she was taken to the caesarian section of the theatre after the medical examination had revealed that she could not give birth through the normal route," said Limo
He added that the mother and baby were recuperating well and were in stable condition at the health facility.
History
He said that the mother has a history of giving birth to big babies all through.
"The three other children were delivered through the normal way even though they were overweight. The first born weighed 3.5Kgs, the second born was weighing 5.1Kgs, the third was weighing 2.7Kgs but the fourth one shocked us because she was weighing 6Kgs," said the nurse.
"Assisted by my other professional nurses we only took 45 minutes to conclude the delivery," added Limo.
