The burial was held at a Jewish Cemetery on Wangari Mathai Road in Nairobi.
Cohen’s wife Sarah Wanjiru, who is among suspects in his murder, led mourners in tossing soil to the coffin - alongside her brother in law Bernard Cohen.
Wairimu was accompanied by her lawyer Philip Murgor and prison authorities who escorted her in line with a special court order permitting her release from remand.
President Uhuru Kenyatta’s first cousins Ngengi Muigai and Captain Kung’u Muigai were also in attendance, as was Nyeri Transport CEC Muthui Kariuki.
On Monday, the burial ceremony was postponed at the last minute after Cohen’s family failed to raise ten priests needed for a Jewish sendoff.
In his speech, Bernard said the Tuesday ceremony was a second burial for Tob – referencing to the fact that the businessman had been buried in a septic tank after being murdered.
“We’re here to burry Tob a second time, this time with dignity,” he said.
